Famous for its numerous Bigfoot sightings and a local ordinance protecting the cherished "MONSTER", Whitehall, New York's First Sasquatch Calling Festival will be held Saturday September 30th, at Busty's Brew & BBQ on the Champlain Canal. The festival will feature free screenings of documentaries from Ohio based SMALL TOWN MONSTERS. The films "The Beast of Whitehall" and "Minerva Monster" viewable on the big screen.

 

The Sasquatch Calling contest begins at 5:45PM on Busty's stage.  The First place winner will receive a cash prize of $100 for the best Hollering.

 

You'll be able to catch two presentations. One by local Sasquatch researcher and author Paul Bartholomew and Vermont researcher Frank Siecienski. The second by Bill Brann and Brian Gosselin from northern sasquatch research society. Brian Gosselin, Ugg, and Barb Neddo will be guest judges.

The Berkshire Center & Services for Youth will be there with a booth for childrens activities. We'll have a big bounce house and are hoping to have Whitehall's famous and popular Cake Booth. The Freakopolis Geekery, Bee and Bramble, Sweet Emma's Cupcakes and JOE’S PIZZA will be set up for your buying pleasure.

Eclectic live music will be playing throughout the day. Bands to date include Citizen's Treasure, Just the two of us & SQUANCH.
